Why do we want to help

Men & Fathers?

Divorce, and other family law related conflicts, have a large effect, not only upon the persons in conflict, but on the children, as well as the immediate and extended families too. Of course, where there are children, the effect on them in particular can be world-shaking, and very long-lasting. As a child of divorce myself, I have experienced the effects of family court first hand. I was just 7-years-old when my parents began the divorce process and I remain fascinated on how the legal process, perceptions, and certain stereotypes that existed back then really had a direct effect on the ultimate outcome of the case, and the subsequent direction of my life.

Our team of family law attorneys firmly believe that every party within a New Jersey divorce deserves a chance at fairness, regardless of gender. Parenting time became lopsided a few years after my parent’s divorce, and eventually my father and I became estranged. I certainly did not understand why this happened as a young child, and it affected me greatly in both negative and positive ways.

It was and remains unfathomable to me how a parent that was supposed to be there for me and, by all society norms, love me unconditionally, simply wasn’t. I have always wondered just how much the court and divorce process and all it entails contributed to that ultimate outcome.

We are a team of New Jersey divorce attorneys that help men and fathers get through their legal processes with confidence by being a guide through the complicated legal system, presenting a course of action in your best interest, and most importantly the best interests of your children. We want to help protect what matters most, and because of my years of experience as the subject child in these kinds of cases, I decided that

I wanted to build a law office that would help so that no parent and no child has to feel like the odd man out (pun intended). What we are not? We are not a woman-hating law firm. We are, in fact, a woman-owned law firm!  We are not interested in any attorney-client relationships intended to advance any legal position that could potentially hurt you, your children, or your spouse. We are not in the game of revenge against your spouse or your children.

We are not just focused on short-term family court solutions, but rather anchor our legal advice around structuring strategies towards long-term goals for every involved party. We will zealously advocate for your best interests, while simultaneously maintaining a high level of professionalism that we’re already known for.

If you are reading this, perhaps you or someone you know is experiencing turmoil in their relationship or divorce process. We understand how unsettling that can be and how the fear of the unknown in terms of things like child custody, child support, alimony and family law issues may be paralyzing.

We  invite you to contact our office or call 201-430-7845 to speak with our attorneys today so we can set up a subsequent goals and options planning session.

As experienced family lawyers, it’s crucial to us that our clients fully entrust us with their future. Our firm philosophy is to provide our clients with the utmost care, guidance, communication, transparency, and candor legal counsel.

We hope to hear from you soon!
